Silica flour

Industrial Mineral Raw Silica Flour Industrial Mineral is an extremely finely divided, high-purity form of crystalline silica consisting of particles up to 150 micrometers in diameter. Crystalline silica is ground into a fine powder by crushing, grinding or ball milling it to produce flour.

Silica flour is used as an abrasive in soaps, skin care products, toothpastes, and paints, and as a filler in construction chemicals and pharmaceuticals. It is also used in foundry work and in the production of glass, ceramics, porcelain, tiles and clay. Silica flour is used as industrial raw materials with other industrial raw material products such as calcium carbonate, limestone, aggregate, quicklime, talc, volcanic rock, and abrasives. Products containing silica have been used for thousands of years to build and manufacture things – and it is a key ingredient in many products we use every day. Silica flour is used to create stronger, less permeable cements, especially in high temperature applications. Production of sand fills is simple because it involves, at most, only washing and grading into grades that vary in grain size. Because sand has a small degree of porosity, it has a very low surface area. Ground silica sand is produced in a similar manner, except that crushing is involved. Ground silica can easily be distinguished under a microscope because it contains irregular grains.

Silica sand is considered one of the most important materials used in many industries. Pure silica sand, which is one of our most important products, is obtained through the following stages: sand extraction using the latest means and methods after removing all layers until silica sand is reached. Silica sand is dried by placing it on flat areas and exposing it to sunlight, in order to facilitate the sifting process and separation of impurities. The separation process is carried out to separate silica and some minerals through the use of the latest devices, equipment and laboratories until we reach a silica purity of more than 98%. We find that the market needs require several sizes of silica.

Benefits of silica powder:

1- Increasing the strength of concrete
2- Significantly improving concrete durability
3- Low permeability
4- Sulfate resistance
5- High initial and final resistance.
6- Better resistance to abrasion or mechanical abrasion.
